The folks at Quilts and Lace Sewing Shop in Melbourne Florida have asked me to come and cruise with them and you're invited to come aboard and join us! Sailing, sewing, fun in the sun, good food, great friends, and seven days of special times await all who choose to participate!

We all had a great time teaching at the big bash in Baton Rouge Louisiana November 11 & 12, 2016!

I wish I could have taken a photo of all 180 sewing enthusiasts who made monogrammed aprons with the Brother Persona in my class! Here are just a few photos of the class and their ln-the-Hoop personalized pockets. Wow, you all look great modeling the aprons. if anyone has more photos feel free to send them along to me!

It was great to make new friends and meet with friends from last year! Here are a few special ladies from my monogrammed coaster and embroidered organza bag class.
I had two great assistants (Don on the left and Harris on the right) helping with my class. Both are former military men . . . both machine embroidery enthusiasts. Don spent years helping the Blue Angels fly and currently teaches new owners how to use their embroidery machine. Harris is now a quilting instructor. They made all six sessions run as smooth as silk while attendees made personalized gift sets in each of the two classes. All projects were embroidered using one of my all time favorite embroidery machines - The Brother PRS100 Persona.
Virginia Beach Retreat - Had a great seafood dinner then took a walk by the light of the bright moon with fellow instructors. From left - Angela Wolf, Joan Clemons, Yours Truly, Jerry Granata, & Jo Corso.
A great group of machine embroidery enthusiasts gather in Baton Rouge from near and far. Some came from as far away as Alaska!!!

Lots of stitches were sewn at this event. it was a great opportunity for participants to try new techniques, test drive Brother model machines, and make new friends!
